Could I accidentally see today's answer here?
No. The current day's word is held back until the next puzzle replaces it, so there's nothing to stumble into while you're still solving.
How is a difficulty number worked out?
Where a genuine measured figure exists — from paid testers or from player data — that's what you'll see. For the many days without one, a plain estimate steps in instead, built from the word's own vowels, repeats, and letter rarity, and it's always shown with a leading ~ so it's never confused with a real measurement.
Can I jump straight to a puzzle number?
Yes — the search box on the Look Up tab takes a puzzle number just as readily as a word or a date.
Is there a way to browse alphabetically?
Switch the sort dropdown to "A to Z." It stays active alongside whatever month, difficulty, or pattern filter you've already set.
Do the trivia numbers stay current?
They do — each one is pulled live from the same table you see on the Look Up tab, so adding a new day updates every chart and count automatically.
